On March 12, representatives of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Buryatia held a working meeting with business representatives at a workshop attended by more than a hundred entrepreneurs of the Khorinsky district.

“Within the framework of the seminar-meeting, it was organized the round table discussion in three areas: agriculture, trade and consumer market, forestry. During the conversation, a question was raised about the lack of high-quality sheepskin and fur raw materials, as its procurement is a labor-intensive process with a low purchasing cost.
President of the CCI RB has informed the roundtable participants about the implementation of the international project in the framework of the Erasmus+ program funded by the European Commission. The goal of the project is to establish 4 educational and innovation centers (leather hubs) on the basis of 2 Russian (ESSUTM, BSAA) and 2 Mongolian universities (MUST, MULS). Leather hubs will be supplied with modern analytical and testing equipment, professional literature, and normative documents and they will be acting as intermediaries between manufacturers and research groups.
For the successful implementation of the national project “”Small and medium-sized entrepreneurship and support for individual initiative”” and the year of entrepreneurship 2020 announced in Russia, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry will implement a number of information campaigns to create a favorable image of entrepreneurship and stimulate interest in doing business. Our goal is to identify all the key requests of entrepreneurs and people who want to start a business, as well as sore points of development of the business sector, creating a unified information environment for entrepreneurs in Buryatia, which will give rise to active promotion.”
